Act alone is a theatre festival decicated to solo shows, one man shows. Antrance at the festival is free on every show. So on Act alone you can realy see the best of Icelandic solos not only in the theatre but also in music, dance and writing. Act alone has been expanding every year with more and more shows on the program and the only roul is that there is only one artist on the stage in each show. Forreign shows have also been on Act alone feks the great actor Eric Bogosian. On Act alone 2014 wich is the 11’th festival there will be at least one solo show from abroad. On Act alone there are allkinds of one man shows something for everybody. Act alone takes place in the great sea village Suðureyri in the Westfjords of Iceland. Suðureyri is a nice place with geustehouses, resturant, coffe-house, outdoor swimmingpool, theatres and so much much more. So come to Act alone and enjoy the solo theatre in Iceland at its greatest and it does not spoil things that there is no enctrance at the festival, totaly free for you.
