Giganta in the Cave by the marina welcomes you wholeheartedly to the annual Children‘s Festival in Reykjanesbær which takes place for the ninth time on May 7-11.  The opening of the wonderful Children‘s Art Festival marks the beginning of the 5 day festivities which reach their peak over the weekend with diverse happenings and programs dedicated to the youngest generation and its families.

Among the things to see and do is the Children‘s Art Festival, Sircus workshop and show, the Schools‘ Talent Show, the Children‘s Toy Market, Teddy Bear workshop where children can design Viking outfits for their Teddies, funfair, Live Music, Horses, Barbecued Hot Dogs, Giganta‘s Pancakes, Costume Dance, Real Vikings teaching battle techniques, Fire Fighters Exhibition, Toffy Rain and so much more.
