“An Excerpt from Skálmöld´s european tour diary with Finntroll and TÝR.

Food for thought: Iceland is the king of bathrooms, and I really mean it. What I look most forward to after this tour is to go into a bathroom which does not reek of raw sewage and shit, to sit on a toilet which does dot have that unexplained riser or just this hole in the ground to do your business into, being able to flush the toilet after taking a shower. Take a shower that holds the temperture but does not burn you and then freeze you in succession. I want to be able to step into a shower where you feel the flow of water on you but not just a few drops that splash on you like dog drool. I want to be able to control the position of the shower head. And who´s brilliant idea was it to place a one cold faucet and one hot faucet on the sink, only to have them positioned half a meter apart. I am not a vera clean type of a person but these are still things that really matter. You find that out when these things don´t work properly. And to able to drink the water from the faucet is what I miss the most.

Day Off tomorrow and then only seven dates left of the tour. Unbeliveble.”
