The festival opens with “Blues Day” in the city center on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Good music, classic cars and a lot of blues enthusiists set the tone for the festival which includes live blues in different downtown venues. The highlights include surprise performances downtown city center from 2pm – 5pm and ofcourse the annual induction of the honorary blues personality.

The Reykjavík Blues Festival’s main stage at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Official afters hours blues club will be at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica and will be open following the evening main stage concerts. Check the festival website for performer announcments and news.
